SilvaTeam go for the natural feeling

SilverTeam have been developing a new series of products and leathers which pay particular attention to the tendency for 'natural feeling' and articles free of chrome which the market requires in the belief that they are more ecologically friendly.

For pretanning and tanning, Ledosol OX is an oxazolidine-based product which is suitable for the production of wet-white.

It can be used with chrome or vegetable tanning agents and helps to obtain a softer and fuller leather.

Ormotan AL, based on aluminium triformate, is suitable for the production of light leathers and white leathers. It produces leather with a tight and firm grain, thus improving the buffing operation.

In the field of fatliquoring, Silvachimica are offering five new products: Keusol TK is described as a super soft fatliquor with excellent fastness properties, suitable for all types of soft leathers; Keusol TB is a fully synthetic fatliquor which imparts softness to the leather while maintaining a firm and smooth grain with a silky touch.

Keusol LC has been specially developed for the production of soft leathers with low specific weight; and Kurtalicker ECS is an economical fatliquor which imparts a good softness and light weight.
