Serbian eleven-month production
Serbia's Statistical Office reports that the production of leather and leather products in Serbia in the first eleven months of 2005 was 1.6% higher than in the same period in 2004. In comparison, industrial output in Serbia in the January to November 2005 period was 0.6% higher year-on-year.
During the same period, Serbia exported leather and leather products worth US$119 million, compared with US$70 million in the same period the previous year. Serbian imports of the same types of commodities in the January to November 2005 period were worth US$166 million, against US$172 million in the corresponding period in 2004.
