Cangilones laboratory drum from Olcina
Olcina were exhibiting their new Cangilones lab drum which features the well established Cangilones internal configuration of wide and stronger shelves. This allows the hides to slide from shelf to shelf rather than experience a drop which could damage them.
The principle of the system is to accommodate a greater load using less energy and providing a gentle action so that hides are not stressed. The slower action also allows greater flexibility in the load so that if a lesser quantity is being processed (from one sixth) everything is proportional: fewer hides = less water.
