Italprogetti developments for dry milling
Italprogetti have recently developed their polypropelene drums for use in dry processes such as dry milling. Polypropelene has proved to be a highly suitable material for the construction of dry milling drums which are traditionally made from stainless steel. Italprogetti have taken advantage of recently developed anti-static polypropelene which has enabled them to produce a dry milling drum, providing clients with the ideal machine to produce items such as wrinkled leather and stone-washed leather. In the past, these effects were only achievable using an industrial washing machine, which constitutes a large expense for tanners. The advantage of this type of machine is its flexibility as it enables tanners to respond to the latest fashion trends very quickly.
