Pakistan EXPO dates changed
In a meeting chaired by Minister of State and chief executiveof the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, Tariq Ikram, it was decided to reschedule the EXPO Pakistan to October, 2008. Expo will now be held from October 27-30, 2008, at Karachi Expo Centre.
This decision has been taken in view of several requests received by TDAP from foreign buyers, exhibitors and trade associations of the country. Although there was a good response from buyers as well as exhibitors for the existing dates of March 2008, it was felt that rescheduling would greatly increase the level of participation, and enhance the benefits to exports and the country's image.
