More livestock losses in North Vietnam

The number of livestock killed as a result of cold weather in northern Vietnam increased to around 55,000 by the last week in February, according to the Vietnamese News Agency.
Financial losses within the livestock sector amounted to US$11.2 million. A continuation of the cold weather was expected to lead to further livestock losses because of inadequate feed reserves.
