Slovenian cattle slaughter in January

Slovenia's Statistics Office reports that the number of cattle slaughtered in slaughterhouses in Slovenia in January, 10,148, was 25.7% lower than in December and 6.7% higher than in January 2007.
The weight of cattle slaughtered in January, 2,874 tonnes, was 23.5% lower month-on-month and 9.2% higher year-on-year.
