Israeli first quarter foreign trade

Israel's Central Statistics Bureau reports that Israel imported leather and leather products worth US$31.6 million in the first quarter of this year, compared with US$28.3 million in the same period in 2007.

Israeli exports of the same types of commodities in this year's first quarter were worth US$4.3 million, as against US$4.6 million in the corresponding period last year.
