OBITUARY
With great sadness, Stahl have announced the death of Jon Bouchard, president of the Performance Coatings Division. Jon joined Stahl over forty years ago and spent his entire career at the USA company at Peabody, Massachusetts.
In his first ten years he served as laboratory technician, technical sales representative and chemist. He became technical director for Paule Chemical (Shoe Finish) in 1977 before becoming upholstery leather manager (Permuthane) in 1983 and then general manager Stahl USA in 1991. He was appointed president of the performance coatings division with global responsibility for Permuthane and Picassian polymers.
Huub van Beijeren, chief executive officer of Stahl Holdings says, ‘With Jon's death at only 59 years old, Stahl has lost a highly valued colleague who was instrumental in developing the Permuthane business into a highly successful growing part of our business. Jon was well known and respected by many people in the trade including Stahl management and colleagues all over the world.' Stahl offer their sincerest condolences to Jon's parents, children and other members of the family, as well as friends and colleagues from Stahl USA.
