Bosnia Serb Republic production and trade

The Institute of Statistics in the Bosnian Serb Republic reports that leather industry production in the Republic in the first four months of this year was 1.2% lower than in the same period in 2007. In comparison, industrial output in the Bosnian Serb Republic in the January to April period this year was 7.8% higher year-on-year.

The number of employees in the leather industry in the first four months of this year was 15.6% higher year-on-year.

In April, the Serb Republic exported raw hides and skins, and leather worth US$878,609. Imports of the same types of commodities in April were worth US$5.37 million.
