Ukraine – first-half sales

Ukraine's State Statistics Committee reports that leather and leather products' sales in Ukraine were worth US$200 million in the first half of this year, compared with US$137 million in the same period in 2007.
The average gross monthly wage in Ukraine's leather industry in June was US$217, compared with US$185 in the same month in 2007. The average monthly industrial wage in Ukraine in June this year was US$443.
