Slovenian cattle slaughter in June

Slovenia's Statistics Office reports that the number of cattle slaughtered in slaughterhouses in Slovenia in June, 9,347, was 8.3% lower than in May and 1.5% higher than in June 2007.
The weight of cattle slaughtered in June, 2,665 tonnes, was 9.1% lower month-on-month and 0.6% higher year-on-year.
The producer price of livestock and livestock products in Slovenia in the second quarter of this year was 2% higher than in the first quarter and 16.2% higher than in the second quarter in 2007.
