Hungarian first-half production and sales

Hungary's Central Statistical Office reports that the production of leather and leather products in Hungary in the first half of this year was 18.2% higher than in the same period in 2007.
Leather and leather products manufacturers' sales in the January to June period were 20.8% higher year-on-year, with an increase in sales of 15.5% on the domestic Hungarian market and 21.6% higher sales on export markets.
