Croatian second quarter slaughter

Croatia's Central Bureau of Statistics reports that 58,445 head of cattle of 11,886 tonnes ‘net weight' were slaughtered in commercial slaughterhouses in Croatia in the second quarter of this year.

These figures were respectively 15% and 19% higher than in the corresponding quarter in 2007.
