Jordanian first-half foreign trade

Jordan's Department of Statistics reports that Jordan exported raw hides and skins, and leather, worth US$4.87 million in the first half of this year, compared with US$3.61 million in the same period in 2007.
Jordan imported leather products worth US$8.67 million in the January to June period this year, as against US$5.92 million in the corresponding period last year.
