Poland's Central Statistics Office reports that the average gross monthly wage in the Polish leather industry in the first eight months of this year was US$802, an increase of 9.4% compared with the same period in 2007.
Serbia's Statistical Office reports that the average monthly wage in Serbia's leather industry in the first eight months of this year was US$396), 21% higher than in the same period in 2007. In comparison, the average monthly wage in Serbia in the January to August period this year was US$847.
