Irish eight-month cattle and sheep slaughter

Ireland's Central Statistics Office reports that the number of cattle slaughtered in Ireland in the first eight months of this year was 6.5% lower than in the same period in 2007. The number of sheep slaughtered was 12% lower year-on-year.
