Argentinian first-half foreign trade

Argentina's National Institute of Statistics and Censuses reports that Argentina exported leather and leather products worth US$546 million in the first half of this year, a year-on-year increase of 0.3%.
Exports of these commodities in 2007 were worth US$1.14 billion. Argentina imported leather and leather products worth US$78 million in the January to June period this year, a year-on-year increase of 27.4%. Argentina imported the same types of commodities worth US$131 million in 2007.
