Croatian eight-month foreign trade

Croatia's Central Bureau of Statistics reports that Croatia exported leather and leather products worth US$239 million in the first eight months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 7.2%.
Croatian imports of the same types of commodities in the January to August period were 14.1% higher year-on-year at US$320 million.
The number of employees in Croatia's leather industry in August was 1.3% higher than in July and 1.8% lower than in August 2007.
