Ukrainian eight-month sales

Ukraine's State Statistics Committee reports that leather and leather products' sales in Ukraine were worth US$243 million in the first eight months of this year, compared with US$175 million in the same period in 2007.
The average monthly wage in Ukraine's leather industry in the first eight months of this year was US$196) compared with US$158)in the same period in 2007. In comparison, the average monthly industrial wage in Ukraine in the January to August period this year was US$391.
