Ukraine cattle numbers on October 1

Ukraine's State Statistics Committee reports that there were 5.8 million head of cattle in Ukraine on October 1 this year, a decrease of 8.7% compared with the number on the same date in 2007.
In terms of region, the Vinnytsya oblast, with 405,700 head, had the highest number of cattle in Ukraine on October 1 this year, followed by the Lviv oblast with 365,900 head.
