The demand for pull-up leathers both for fashion and outdoor shoes is ever-increasing. Very high water resistance coupled with pull-up effects ranging from very strong to almost none have to be achieved.

Clariant's new Melio Wax PO-408-US, a finely balanced pull-up wax, shows the following relevant characteristics:

very strong pull-up

very dark surface

rich surface feel

In addition to this product, Clariant offers Bavon Oil WR-600.A, a high performance waterproofing product for water-repellent crust with:

Both products do not adversely affect the Maeser and Bally flexes or water absorption values of most water resistant crusts, particularly those which have been retanned and fatliquored with Clariant´s system for waterproof pull-up leathers.
