Ukraine cattle numbers

Ukraine's State Statistics Committee reports that there were 5.66 million head of cattle in Ukraine on November 1 this year, a decrease of 8% compared with the number on the same date in 2007.
In terms of region, the Vinnytsya oblast, with 402,400 head, had the highest number of cattle in Ukraine on November 1 this year, followed by the Lviv oblast with 358,700 head.
