Published: 12 December, 2008
Turkey's State Statistics Institute reports that Turkey's leather and leather processing industry was operating at an average of 64.6% of total capacity in November, compared with 64.7% in November 2007.
The main reason given by companies for not operating at full capacity in November 2008 was low demand from consumers.
