Serbian eleven-month production and trade

Serbia's Statistical Office reports that the production of leather and leather products in Serbia in the first eleven months of 2008 was 4% lower than in the same period in 2007.

In comparison, Serbian industrial output in the January to November 2008 period was 2% higher year-on-year.

Serbia exported leather and leather products worth E166 million in the first eleven months of 2008, compared with E149 million in the same period in 2007. Serbian imports of the same types of commodities in the January to November 2008 period were worth E252 million, as against E226 million in the corresponding period in 2007.
