Ukrainian sales in 2008

Ukraine's State Statistics Committee reports that sales of leather and leather products by manufacturers in Ukraine were worth US$252 million in 2008, compared with US$193 million in 2007.

The average monthly wage in Ukraine's leather industry in 2008 was US$130, compared with US$107 in 2007. In comparison, the average monthly industrial wage in Ukraine last year was (US$254), as against US$195 in 2007.
