Macedonian production in 2008

Macedonia's State Statistical Office reports that the production of leather and leather products in Macedonia in 2008 was 8.6% lower than in 2007. In comparison, industrial output in Macedonia in 2008 was 5.5% higher year-on-year. These figures are preliminary ones.
The average gross monthly wage in Macedonia's leather industry in the first eleven months of 2008 was US$260, 39.1% higher than in the same period in 2007. The average monthly wage in Macedonia's manufacturing industry during this period was 6.9% higher year-on-year at US$446).
