Hungarian production and sales in 2008

Hungary's Central Statistical Office reports that the production of leather and leather products in Hungary in 2008 was 4.9% higher than in 2007.
Manufacturers' sales of leather and leather products in 2008 were 5.3% higher year-on-year, with an increase in sales of 9.7% on the domestic Hungarian market and 4.7% higher sales on export markets. Industrial production as a whole in Hungary in 2008 was 1.1% lower year-on-year.
