Ukraine foreign trade in 2008

Ukraine's State Statistics Committee reports that Ukraine exported leather and leather products worth US$360 million in 2008, a decrease of 8.9% compared with 2007. Of total exports, exports of raw leather were worth US$302 million, a year-on-year decrease of 11.7%.
Ukraine imported leather and leather products worth US$232 million last year, an increase of 46% compared with 2007. Of total imports in 2008, imports of leather products were worth US$118 million, more than double those in 2007.
