Bosnia and Herzegovina slaughter

Bosnia and Herzegovina's Federal Statistics Office reports that 34,113 head of cattle of a total net weight of 5,937 tons were slaughtered in abattoirs in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fourth quarter of 2008. These figures were respectively 1.2% and 1.3% higher than in the fourth quarter of 2007.

Bosnia and Herzegovina's Federal Statistics Office reports that 124,145 head of cattle of a total net weight of 20,967 tons were slaughtered in abattoirs in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2008. These figures were respectively 6.6% and 10.3% higher than in 2007.

Sales and purchases of livestock in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2008 were 24.1% higher than in 2007.
