Statistics Serbia reports that the average gross monthly wage in Serbia's leather industry in January was US$291, compared with the average wage in Serbia of US$549.
Ukraine's State Statistics Committee reports that the average monthly wage in Ukraine's leather industry in January was US$107, compared with US$110 in January 2008. In comparison, the average monthly industrial wage in Ukraine in January this year was $221.
Croatia's Central Bureau of Statistics reports that the average gross monthly wage in Croatia's leather industry in 2008 was US$629, a year-on-year increase of 5%. In comparison, the average gross monthly wage in Croatia in 2008 was US$1,308, a year-on-year increase of 7.1%.
Poland's Central Statistical Office reports that the average gross monthly wage in Poland's leather industry in 2008 was US$482, 5.9% higher than in 2007. In comparison, the average gross monthly wage in Poland in 2008 was US$862, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%.
