Macedonia – Average monthly wage in 2008

Macedonia's State Statistical Office reports that the average gross monthly wage in Macedonia's leather industry in 2008 was MKD11,914 (US$245), an increase of 35.7 per cent as compared with 2007.
In comparison, the average gross monthly wage in Macedonia's manufacturing sector in 2008 was 6.8 per cent higher at MKD20,570 (US$423).
