Serbia – Production in January

Statistics Serbia reports that the production of leather and leather products in Serbia in January was 24.9 per cent lower than in January 2008. In comparison, industrial output in Serbia in 2008 was 17.1 per cent higher year-on-year.
A geographical breakdown of leather and leather goods production in Serbia in January reveals that production in Central Serbia fell by 40.4 per cent year-on-year, while production in Vojvodina decreased by 13.2 per cent.
