Persico to launch new flesher in Bologna

Italy

Italian beamhouse machinery specialists, Costruzioni Meccaniche Persico, will be launching a new full hide fleshing machine at the Tanning Tech 2009 show in Bologna next month. The show will take place October 13-25 at the Bologna Fiera alongside Lineapelle.

The newly designed fleshing machine presses the hide against the blades to make the fleshing operation more uniform and cleaner. The new system reacts quickly to differences in the hide thickness and reduces excess trimming as the edges are left clean.
It is simple to use and no other adjustments are necessary when fleshing hides with different thicknesses and assorted hides can be processed without changing the position setting.

This latest innovation, combined with a fleshing system that, in optimum conditions, can process up to 600 hides/hour, makes it suitable for medium/high volume hide processors, giving them a competitive edge in the market.
