New Colomer Moda plant in China

Colomer Leather Group and Henan Prosper have announced that the Colomer y Munmany finishing plant formerly located in Vic, Spain is gradually being transferred to the new plant, which is nearing completion of the construction phase, in China.

In a press statement to Leather International they confirm that the Colomer Leather Group is transferring its subsidiary’s (Colomer y Munmany) leather finishing know-how to Henan Prosper, which includes a group of senior technicians and commercial people.
The new company, which is already registered under the name of Colomer Moda and has its headquarters in Mengzhou (Henan province, China), is already operational and manufacturing under the Colomer Moda name. The new line ‘offers products to the market with the traditional Colomer quality’ says the press statement. The complete Colomer Moda tannery is anticipated to be working at full capacity during the second quarter of 2010.
