Golf winner - Palser
The De Vere Slaley Hall resort near Hexham, Northumberland, UK provided the location for the 64th International Golf Championship of the Shoe, Leather & Allied Trades tournament.
The Championship and the ‘News Bowl’ was won by Jeremy Palser, Hot Brands for the second time in three years, with 68 points. Palser (right) collects the News Bowl from IGCSLAT, president, Geoffrey W Mawer.
The 65th Championship will be at the Killarney Golf & Fishing Club on the Killeen Course and Mahoney’s Point, Ireland, with the Castlerosse Hotel being the headquarters once again. The dates are June 16-18, 2010.
