Yue Yuen sales up
Hong Kong-listed Yue Yuen Industrial said its operating revenue rose 0.7% year in December to $469.2 million. Last year, the company's operating revenue was $4.97 billion, down 2.9% from $5.12 billion in 2008.
The company's operating revenue during the first ten months of last year slid 3.3% to $4.07 billion, while its operating revenue was $4.21 billion in the first ten months of 2008. Yue Yuen, a unit of Taiwan's Pou Chen Corp, is mainly engaged in the manufacture and marketing of athletic footwear, athletic-style leisure footwear, casual and outdoor footwear.
