Latest waterproofing agent from BASF
BASF, a market leader for waterproofing agents, have introduced Densodrin EP, an innovative development in a new generation of ecologically friendly products in the Desodrin range of water repellants for the production of waterproof leather.
Based on new developments in chemistry, Densodrin EP enables more level dyeing and a drier surface can be obtained, which causes less problems in finishing. The product has excellent resistance to hard water and is less sensitive to pH, while generally providing a good filling effect. Densodrin EP is AOX- and solvent-free, which makes it the natural choice when it comes to environmental friendliness. It is recommended for all types of leather, especially shoe uppers that require high waterproof performance (Maeser and Bally penetrometer tests).
