TFL launch economical liming agent
Maximise the yield of your raw hides say leather chemical makers, TFL. They have extended their beamhouse product range with the release of Erhavit FA, an economic liming agent supporting the optimisation of area yield, without making the leather loose. This liming agent optimises the opening-up of the hide structure and is very effective in reducing swelling and wrinkling during the liming process.
This product is designed to minimise seasonal short hair and hair roots making it ideal for hair-save liming processes. In addition, it improves scud loosening and blood stain removal, leading to clean uniformly dyed crust, increasing the value of the leather.
As some tanners now prefer amine-free products, Erhavit FA has been designed to meet this demand and is based on alternative reductive substances.
