Good results for Coach

For the quarter ended October 2, US luxury leather goods maker, Coach posted earnings of $188.9 million up from $140.8 million a year earlier. Revenue jumped 20% to $911.7 million.
Coach’s first-quarter profit jumped 34% on stronger sales and margins and the company said it is in a good position looking forward.
The company is upbeat about the US and further expansion plans internationally, with China seen as a particularly fertile market. The company said that China represents the single largest geographic opportunity for Coach.
