Binzhou to attract leather makers

The Binzhou area of Shandong province in North Eastern China is looking to attract tanners into the area say www.chinaleather.org Binzhou authorities want to take advantage of local cattle farming and meat processing industries.
The area is hoping to attract investment into the area and has earmarked the leather industry as a priority sector. Binzhou is located in the north of Shandong province and has an estimated annual slaughter that could be as high as 18 million cow hides.
