Shengda Tannery reach target early
Shengda Tannery are a leading leather maker located in the Xinshi town of Deqing. Deqing is located on the central eastern coast of China near the city of Hangzhou. Their overseas sourcing of raw materials amounted to US$30 million in the first three quarters of 2010 compared with none imported in the same period of 2009.
The company have imported more raw materials due to increased demand from foreign buyers. Foreign export sales for the company have grown rapidly in 2010 and the company say that they have reached their annual sales target one full quarter ahead of schedule. Deqing Shengda are a producer of pigskin leathers, particularly suede.
