C&E to open new PU plant

Indian leather finishing chemical makers, C&E have constructed a new plant to produce PU binders for the leather industry within their leather chemical finishing factory at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. C&E say that this is the first plant in India to produce polyurethane binders in the country using European technology.
Rafeeque Ahmed, Chairman, Indian Council for Leather Exports & Footwear Design and Development Institution will officially inaugurate the plant on February, 16.
