Buckman announce global price increases

USA based leather chemical maker, Buckman announced on February 23 a global price increase on products and programs to all market segments of 5% to 15% depending on the specific product or program and region of the world. These include the Pulp and Paper, Industrial Water, Leather, and Performance Chemicals Segments.
Increases will be effective March 1, 2011, or as contracts allow. Mounting raw material prices and availability, as well as rising freight costs, are the major drivers behind this increase.
