Cotance, The Association of European Tanners’, will be present at the World Leather Congress with speakers including Cotance President, Alberto Rosello and Secretary General, Gustavo Gonzalez-Quijano. The Cotance presence has to be ‘understood in the context of the on-going negotiations between the EU and Mercosur for a Free Trade Agreement’ say Cotance in a press statement.

The World Leather Congress takes place later this year, November 9, in Rio de Janeiro.  The conference discusses the future of the leather industry and is organised by the Brazilian leather Industry (CICB) under the auspices of ICT. The WLC follows the World Footwear Congress (November 7-8), which increases the business interest to attend.
