Faurecia to speak at ‘Upholstery Leather in Asia’ conference
Leather International, organisers, of the ‘Upholstery Leather in Asia’ conference are pleased to announce a new speaker to complete the speaker line-up for the half-day conference.
Monique Danielou, Faurecia Interior systems Asia, Engineering Director will present a paper entitled: ‘Increased demand for leather interiors in high-class vehicles. New product and process challenges and solutions’.
Faurecia are the largest auto supplier in the world and their products are found in many leading auto brands such as Ford, BMW, VW-Audi, Hyundai and many more.
The company has a global workforce of 75,000 at 238 plants in 33 countries. Group sales total €1.38 billion. They are the leading automotive interior supplier in the world and are ranked third in terms of automotive seating.
The half-day conference takes place at the 5-star Kerry Hotel in the Pudong district of Shanghai next to the Shanghai New International Expo Center, which will be the venue of the All China Leather Exhibition taking place September 6-8.
Dr Bernhard Angermaier of automotive manufacturers Audi will give the keynote presentation. Other speakers from GST-Autoleather, BASF, National Beef and Shimadze will also present on the day.
