Minimal approach from Smit & Zoon
This years Smit & Zoon leather collection at the ACLE in Shanghai, September 6-8 is based on three philosophies:
- minimal environmental impact
- minimal free formaldehyde
- minimal production complexity
The leathers on display have all been made with simple recipes with a minimal possible length. Their production evolves around the desire to produce leathers with as little environmental impact as possible. For the lowest possible free formaldehyde content Smit & Zoon’s Safetan range has been incorporated in all recipes.
To achieve simultaneous environmental friendliness and enhanced performance their range of polymer softeners have been used on a variety of articles.
