JBS to consolidate tanneries
Brazil
Published: 31 August, 2011
In a press release this week, JBS Leather Division said that they have started to recently consolidate their manufacturing in Brazil, aiming to optimise the existing infrastructure and improve the products and services delivered to their customers.
The plants in Rio Brilhante/MS, Aguaí/SP, Franca/SP and Estância Velha/RS are interrupting their production and redirecting to other branches equipped with newer machinery, better production layout, and geographically better located, improving substantially JBS’s internal logistics.
