Busy first day at the ACLE
The first day of the All China Leather Exhibition concluded with most exhibitors happy with the number of visitors they had received. The show is larger than in 2010 and statistics suggest that the Chinese market still continues to be strong with healthy growth.
Most international tanners, traders, chemical and machinery suppliers are situated in halls E6 and E7 of the Shanghai New International Expo Center covering 37 countries. This is a change in location from previous editions held at the SNIEC. Chinese exhibitors are located in halls E2, E3 and E4. The show organisers are hoping to increase visitors up from 12,967 in 2010 with 10,772 coming from mainland China and 2195 fro the rest of the world including Taiwan and Hong Kong.
The 2011 ACLE has 1090 exhibitors and takes place September 6-8. The show is organised by APLF Ltd and the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA).
