French tanners groups merge

Two unions of representing French tanners merged in June to become a unified group under the existing name of Fédération Française de la Tannerie Mégisserie.
The first group, the union of tanners, which was made up of 18 tanners of larger skins has merged with the union of leather dressers, which had 44 members, mainly small skins tanners. The new combined association now has 62 members and will be represented by a single structure.
